Weekend treat for anytime of the day
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 300g plain flour
- 350ml warm milk
- 75ml vegetable oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 Tbls shelled hemp seeds
- Maple syruo
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 15 mins
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and eggs. Mix well. (The mixture will not be fully smooth).
Pour warm milk on the edges of the bowl to clean it up. Quickly stir to avoid getting lumps.
Stir in oil. Let batter sit for 30 minutes if you have time.
Cook in waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Top with a glug of maple syrup and a sprinkling on hemp seeds. Delicious!
